Excelled in track, football and coaching, undefeated state champion in shot put. All West Virginia conference in track, successful track, wrestling and football coach at James Wood High School in VA. Record as wrestling coach 187-41-3, wrestling teams won three regional titles, seven district titles, and coached five individual state champions.
