Excelled in football as a four-year starter along the offensive line. Led the Rams to a four-year record of 25-13-2 (.650), and the 1972 WVIAC Championship with a record of 7-3.  Helped lead the way for Bob Pope and Perry Hubbard to become the top two rushers in school history.  Earned tryouts with three NFL teams after graduation and continued to server Shepherd, after his tryouts he assumed the role of assistant offensive line coach in 1973.  Tom has served as a teacher and coach since 1975 and has also been involed with the Special Olympics, The United Way, and The Hershey Track and Field Meet.
