SHEPHERD FOOTBALL ADDS THREE (4-22-2010)

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University head football coach Monte Cater announced today that three more student-athletes have signed letters-of-intent to play football for the Rams in 2010. Among the group are two from Maryland and one from Washington, D.C.

TreVon Dorsey (Chesapeake Beach, MD/Northern), a 6-0, 230-pound fullback, was a two-time All-SMAC selection. He was also a SMAC Academic All-Conference honoree.
Christopher Martin (Washington, DC/H.D. Woodson), a 6-2, 290-pound offensive lineman, lettered in football and track at H.D. Woodson. Martin was member of two championship teams for the Warriors. He was a First Team All-Conference selection at guard and was also named Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Isaiah Shelton (Temple Hills, MD/Charles H. Flowers), a 6-2, 280-pound offensive lineman, lettered in football and wrestling at Flowers. Shelton was a member of the county champion teams in both sports. A two-year team captain in wrestling and a football team captain as a senior, Shelton was a First Team All-County choice in both sports.
