SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University dropped 3-0 decision to Charleston in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The Golden Eagles recorded a 25-21, 27-25, 25-23 win.
Shepherd was led by senior middle hitter Meg Kenny (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) with 11 kills and an impressive .429 attack percentage. She also added six blocks and two digs.
Olivia Livengood had eight kills and 19 digs and Katharine Furlong added eight kills and 18 digs to lead Charleston.
Shepherd falls to 10-9, 6-3 in MEC action, while Charleston improves to 11-7, 4-4. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Indiana (Pa.) for a 7 p.m. match.
