Shepherd Volleyball Falls to Notre Dame

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University dropped a 3-1 decision to Notre Dame College in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night. The Falcons posted a 16-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-15 victory.

Senior middle hitter Meg Kenny (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) and senior outside hitter Kayla Walker (Palmyra, VA/Fluvanna County) each had eight kills, while senior outside hitter Melani Lewis (Bay Shore, N.Y. /Brentwood) added seven.
Junior setter Taylor Belella (Smithsburg, MD/Smithsburg) contributed 26 assists, while freshman libero Lauren Summa (Bear, Del./Padua Academy) recorded a team-high 25 digs
Kristen Hill had nine kills to pace the Falcons.
Shepherd rops to 11-12, 6-5 in MEC action, while Notre Dame improves to 4-22, 2-9. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Urbana for a 4 p.m. match.
