SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University battled to a scoreless tie with Concord University in MEC men's soccer action at the Shepherd Soccer Complex on Wednesday afternoon.

Shepherd had a 21-20 advantage in shots, while Concord had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) had five saves for the Rams, while Mitchell Thompson recorded nine saves for the Mountain Lions.

Shepherd moves to 1-3-1, 0-1-1, while Concord is now 2-2-1, 0-1-1. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Wheeling Jesuit for a 3 p.m. contest.
