Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Junior forward Kylie Duffin (Ventor, N.J./Holy Spirit) scored on an assist from senior midfielder Kelsey J. Smith (York, Pa./Central York) in the 44th minute to lift Shepherd University to a 1-0 win over West Liberty in MEC women's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Anna Mueller (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) had a pair of saves in goal for the Rams. Allie Warsaw posted a pair of saves for the Hilltoppers.

Shepherd had a 11-8 advantage in shots and a 2-1 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd improves to 4-5-1 overall, 2-4-0 in MEC play, while West Liberty falls to 2-4-2, 2-3-1. The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Urbana for a noon contest.
