SHEPHERD WOMEN'S TENNIS BLANKS CONCORD

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University downed Concord, 5-0, in MEC women's tennis action at Shepherd on Friday.

Shepherd got singles wins from senior Katelyn Mumaw (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) and freshman Molly Lovern (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield).

Mumaw and Lovern teamed for an 8-4 win at number one doubles,  senior Alice D'Alauro (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) and junior Chloe Raines (Hedgesville, W.Va./Musselman) combined for an 8-0 triumph at number two doubles, senior Stacy Brewbaker (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora),and sophomore Jill Spuria (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) teamed for an 8-0 win at number three doubles.

The Shepherd women improve to 3-8 overall, 2-5 in MEC action.
