Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to fourth-ranked University of Charleston in MEC men's soccer action at Charleston on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles got goals from Augusto Maciel, Jules Gabiadini, and Will Roberts.

Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) recorded seven saves for the Rams, while Fabian Veit had a saves for the Golden Eagles.

Charleston had a 20-3 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd falls to 6-5-1, 3-5-0 in conference play, while fourth-ranked Charleston improves to 10-0-1, 6-0-1. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Wheeling Jesuit for a noon contest.
