Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Megan Horan scored on a free kick in the 88th minute to lift Wheeling Jesuit to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University in MEC women's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday. The loss snapped a four game winning streak for the Rams.

Sophomore goalkeeper Anna Mueller (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) had five saves for the Rams, while Holly Kraus recorded six saves for the Cardinals.

Shepherd had a 17-9 advantage in shots and had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd falls to 7-6-1 overall, 5-5-0 in MEC play, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 1-6-5, 1-5-4. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Notre Dame College for a noon contest.
