Box Score URBANA, Ohio – Shepherd University dropped a 1-0 decision to Urbana University in MEC men's soccer action at Urbana on Sunday.

Mike McFarland scored the game-winner on a header off a free kick from Lewis Dunne at the 44:08 mark.
 
Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) recorded eight saves for the Rams. Nathan Jones had five saves for the Blue Knights.

Urbana had a 21-10 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd falls to 5-4-1, 2-4-0 in conference play, while Urbana improves to 3-7-0, 2-4-0. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Concord for a noon contest.
