Box Score URBANA, Ohio – Senior forward Taylor Amsley (Saint Thomas, Pa./James Buchanan) scored an unassisted goal at the 10:20 mark to lift Shepherd University to a 1-0 win over Urbana in MEC women's soccer action at Urbana on Sunday.

Sophomore Anna Mueller (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) had three saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Taylor Gianangeli posted six saves for the Blue Knights.

Shepherd had a 12-6 advantage in shots and a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd improves to 5-5-1 overall, 3-4-0 in MEC play, while Urbana falls to 2-5-2, 1-4-2. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Concord for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
