Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va .– Junior defender Chris Mashinski (LaPlata, Md./North Point) scored on assists from senior defender Michael Cella (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot) and junior defender/midfielder Dan Doub (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport/Hagerstown CC) at the 102:53 mark to lift  Shepherd University to a 1-0 win over Concord in MEC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday.

Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) recorded three saves in a shutout effort for the Rams, while Mitchell Thompson had a save for the Mountain Lions.

Concord had a 16-14 advantage in shots and a 9-7 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd improves to 6-4-1, 3-4-0 in conference play, while Concord falls to 1-8-1, 1-6-0. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Charleston for a 4 p.m. contest.
