Concord answered back when Novak connected on 71-yard scoring pass to T.J. Smith tie the game at 7-7 with 3:59 left in the first quarter.
The Mountain Lions took a 13-7 lead when Novak and Smith combined on a 55-yard scoring strike with 13:42 left in the third quarter.
Shepherd tied the game at 13-13 when Ziemba fired a 19-yard scoring pass to senior wide receiver

Tiko Henderson took the ensuing kickoff and raced 92 yards for a touchdown on a fake reverse to give the Mountain Lions a 20-13 lead with 2:44 left in the third quarter.
Shepherd drove 93 yards on seven plays with Ziemba teaming with Brown on a 14-yard scoring pass with 39 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
Andy Ellington nailed a 43-yard field goal on Concord's first possession in overtime.
Shepherd attempted a field goal on its first possession to keep alive, but it was blocked and returned by Jeremiah Johnson for an 86-yard touchdown to seal the win for the Mountain Lions.
Ziemba completed 22-of-37 passes for a career-high 310 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams.
Brown led the Shepherd receivers with nine catches for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Smith had five catches for 138 yards for the Mountain Lions.
Calvinaugh Jones rushed for a game-high 111 yards on 27 carries for Concord. Junior running back
Allen Cross (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) rushed for 50 yards on 17 carries for the Rams.
Shepherd totaled 392 yards of total offense, while Concord had 305. Shepherd rushed for only 82 yards and Concord was limited to 78.
Senior defensive lineman
Bernard Wolley (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) recorded a team-high nine tackles (five solo) for the Rams. Austin Dotson had 11 tackles (seven solo) to lead the Mountain Lions.
Shepherd falls to 8-2, 8-2 in conference play, while Concord improves to 11-0, 10-0.
