Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Top-seeded Notre Dame College handed fourth-seeded Shepherd University a 2-0 setback in MEC Women's Soccer Tournament semifinal action at Notre Dame on Wednesday afternoon.
The Falcons took a 1-0 lead at the 10:30 mark when Alex Defilippo scored on a feed from Katherine Beattie.
Notre Dame had a 2-0 advantage at the break as Natalie Ockunnzi found the back of the net on an assist from Beattie at the 40:59 mark.

Anna Mueller (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) was not credited with a save for the Rams, while Samantha Shoemaker had six saves for the Falcons.
Shepherd had an 11-7 advantage in shots, while Notre Dame had a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.
Shepherd completes its season at 9-9-1 overall, while Notre Dame improves to 13-2-2. The Falcons advance to Sunday's conference championship game.
