WHEELING, W.Va. – Shepherd University defeated West Liberty, 6-3, in MEC men's tennis action at West Liberty on Sunday.

Shepherd got singles wins from senior Chris Pratt (Charleston, WV/George Washington), senior Michael Lesko (Mt. Airy, MD/Linganore), junior Steve Kolumban (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg and freshman Will Wheatley (Charles Town, WV/Washington).

Junior Steven Lesko (Mt. Airy, MD/Linganore) and Kolumban teamed for an 8-6 win at number two doubles, while senior Al Starlings (Mt. Airy, MD/Linganore) and freshman Grant Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg) notched a victory at number three doubles

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Concord for a 1 p.m. match.
