Shepherd Women's Lacrosse Falls to #8 Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Jessica Pandolf scored seven goals and added an assist to lead eighth-ranked Lock Haven to a 20-5 win over Shepherd University in women's lacrosse action at Lock Haven on Monday.
Lindsay Walbrandt, Kelly Hamilton, and Chelsea Borrino each added three goals for the Lady Eagles.
Sophomore attacker Hunter Morris (Severna Park, Md./Severn) had a pair of goals to lead the Rams.
Senior midfielder Jenny Cavey (Sykesville, Md./Westminster), junior attacker/midfielder Kelsey Eagan (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point), and sophomore midfielder Erin Phelan (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) each added single goals. Senior midfielder Christina Ferrara (California, Md./Leonardtown) contributed an assist.
Lock Haven had a 14-1 lead at intermission.
Junior netminder Lily Schmulowitz (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville) recorded six saves for the Rams, while Chrissy Baffuto had five saves for the Lady Eagles.
Lock Haven had a 32-14 advantage in shots and a 17-10 edge in draw controls. The Lady Eagles had a 16-11 edge in ground balls.
Shepherd falls to 7-5, while eighth-ranked Lock Haven improves to 8-2. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Notre Dame College at 11 a.m.
