SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Junior defender Alyx Albano (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) of the Shepherd University women's lacrosse team has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District II Women's At-Large Team.

Albano, a secondary education major with a 3.88 cumulative grade point average, moves on to be included in the Academic All-America ballot. Albano, a first team Division II All-Independent team selection, helped lead the Rams to a 10-6 overall mark.
