Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – Freshman forward Jeff Kammerer (Woodstock, Md./Marriotts Ridge) scored on an assist from senior forward Ricky Johnson (Columbia, Md./Long Reach at the 95:09 mark to lift Shepherd University to a 1-0 victory over Concord in MEC men's soccer action at Concord on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) had three saves for the Rams, while Mitchell Thompson had a pair of saves for the Mountain Lions.

Shepherd had a 9-7 advantage in shots while Concord had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd improves to 3-1-1, 1-1-0 in conference play, while Concord falls to 0-3-1, 0-2-0. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 1 p.m. contest.
