Box Score WHEELING, W.Va. – A Iniguez De Heredia scored on an assist from Luke Roan in the 64th minute to lift Wheeling Jesuit  to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University in MEC men's soccer action at Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday afternoon.

Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) had three saves for the Rams, while Cody Thompson had four saves for the Cardinals.

Wheeling Jesuit had a 19-6 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.

Shepherd falls to 3-2-1,1-2-0 in conference play. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host West Virginia Wesleyan for a  noon contest.
