Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.  –  Shepherd University downed  Concord, 3-0, in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday afternoon.  The Rams gained a 25-16, 25-19, 25-23 victory.

Senior right side Valerie Bour (Willoughby Hills, Ohio/Willoughby South) had 13 kills and 14 digs to lead the Rams. Senior middle hitter Katie Beecher (Concord, NC./Concord/Liberty) added 10 kills.

Junior outside hitter Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee College) contributed  12 digs, while senior setter Taylor Belella (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg)  had 36 assists and 10 digs.

Jones  had seven kills, four digs and eight blocks to pace the Mountain Lions.

Shepherd improves to 6-4, 2-0 in MEC action, while Concord drops to 8-6, 0-2.  The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Shippensburg for 7 p.m.  match.
