Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.  –  Shepherd University earned a 3-0 win over Bowie State in non-conference volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Wednesday night.  The Rams gained a 25-12, 25-23, 25-7 victory.

Senior middle hitter Katie Beecher (Concord, NC./Concord/Liberty) and redshirt-freshman middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) each recorded eight kills to pace the Rams.

Senior opposite/outside hitter Valerie Bour (Willoughby Hills, Ohio/Willoughby South) had 10 digs, five kills, and five aces, while sophomore setter Tommie Jo David (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown) contributed 30 assists and four aces.

Yaje Ngundam had five kills and Marissa Martinez had nine digs to lead Bowie State.

Shepherd improves to 8-4, while Bowie State falls to 1-13. The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Urbana for a 7 p.m.  match.
