Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.  –  Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to Urbana in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night. The Blue Knights gained a 25-20, 25-14, 25-22 victory.

Freshman opposite Kayleigh Helgesen (Oceanside, Calif./El Camino) had seven kills and three blocks to lead the Rams. Junior right side/libero Taylor Allen (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) had a team-high 12 digs, while senior setter Taylor Belella (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg) added 21 assists and nine digs.

Katelynn Dunlap had 13 kills, seven digs, and five blocks to lead Urbana.

Shepherd falls to 8-5, 2-1 in MEC play, while Urbana improves to 5-6, 3-0.  The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Notre Dame College for a 4 p.m. match.
