SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.. –  Senior midfielder Kyle Ransom (Shepherdstown, W.Va./Jefferson/California { Pa.}) scored on an assist from senior midfielder Abel Setegn (Arakilo, Ethiopia/Winston Churchill {MD}) at the 56:50 mark to lead Shepherd University to a 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.

East Stroudsburg took a 1-0 lead at the 24:37 mark when Otavio Caproni scored on a penalty kick.

Shepherd tied the game at the 56:06 mark when freshman forward Jeff Kammerer (Woodstock, Md./Marriotts Ridge) scored on a feed from Ransom.

Junior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport)  had three saves for the Rams, while J.B. Pahls had three saves for the Warriors.

Shepherd had a 15-11 advantage in shots while corner kicks were even at 4-4.

Shepherd improves to 2-0, while East Stroudsburg falls to 0-1. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel
