Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Kayla Tibbs scored a game-high 19 points to lead Glenville State to a 77-66 win over Shepherd University in MEC women's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday.
Tibbs connected on 6-of-10 shots with a 4-of-8 effort from beyond the arc. She was 3-of-4 from the foul line.
Sophomore guard
Cara Mason (Monrovia, Md./Urbana) led the Rams with 15 points. Senior guard
Briana Vaden (Stockton, Calif./McNair/San Joaquin Delta College) contributed 13 points and seven rebounds, while senior center
Gabby Flinchum (North Potomac, Md./Wootton) tossed in 12 points and grabbed five boards off the bench.

Rachel Johnson (Frederick, Md./Frederick) added a game-high four assists and seven rebounds.
Keyanna Tate had 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Glenville State. Brittany Jackson added 11 points.
Glenville had a 39-30 advantage at the break.
Shepherd narrowed the Pioneer lead to six points after a layup by freshman guard
Morgan Arden (Hanover, Pa./Spring Grove) with 4:49 left in the contest, but would get no closer.
Shepherd shot 37 percent (27-73) from the floor with a 17.6 percent effort (3-17) from three-point range for the game. The Rams shot 64.3 percent (9-14) from the charity stripe.
Glenville State connected on 43.5 percent (27-62) from the floor with a 26.7 percent (8-30) performance from beyond the arc. The Pioneers hit on 75 percent (15-20) of their free throws.
Shepherd had a 44-37 advantage on the boards. The Rams forced 19 turnovers and committed 20.
Shepherd falls to 13-7, 10-4 in MEC action, while Glenville State improves to 10-8, 8-6. The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
Rachel Jonson had four points, seven rebounds, and a game-high four assists.
