Shepherd Men's Soccer Falls to Notre Dame

Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a 2-0 decision to Notre Dame College in MEC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Thursday afternoon.

Shepherd drops to 2-10-0, 1-7-0 in conference play, while Notre Dame improves to 9-4-0, 5-3-0.

Notre Dame had a 1-0 lead at the break behind an unassisted tally by Leonardo Palva at the 37:47 mark.

Palva added a second half goal on a pass from Felipe Silva at the 63:01 mark.

Sophomore goalkeeper Dmitre Snowdy (Waldorf, Md./North Point) recorded career-high 15 saves for the Rams, while Daniel Nagy had one save for the Falcons.

Notre Dame had a 27-4 advantage in shots and an 8-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 1 p.m. game.
