Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Shepherd University handed Notre Dame College a 3-0 defeat in MEC volleyball action at Notre Dame on Friday night. The Rams gained a 26-24, 26-24, 25-22 victory.

Shepherd improves to 7-7 overall, 2-0 in conference play, while Notre Dame falls to 1-12, 0-3.

Senior outside hitter Taylor Allen (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) recorded nine kills and four blocks, while sophomore middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) recorded seven kills with a .455 attack percentage to pace the Rams.

Freshman setter Cyera Dixon (Rushville, Ohio/Fairfield Union) contributed 24 assists and an ace. Sophomore libero/defensive specialist Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) had 17 digs and senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee) added 14.

Melissa Maczuzak had nine kills and Tawnia Almaraz posted 18 digs to lead the Falcons.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Urbana for a 4 p.m. match.
