Box Score JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to Pitt-Johnstown in non-conference volleyball action at Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday night. The Mountain Cats gained a 25-12, 25-16, 25-21 victory.

Shepherd falls to 10-11 overall, while Pitt-Johnstown improves to 20-3.

Sophomore middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford)  had seven kills and senior outside hitter Taylor Allen (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) added six for the Rams. Senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee) and sophomore libero/defensive specialist Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) each posted 11 digs.

Freshmen setters Cyera Dixon (Rushville, Ohio/Fairfield Union) (14) and Becca Kern  (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) (11) combined to record  25 assists.

Cambria Wierman had 12 kills and 13 digs while Marissa Erminio added 10 kills to lead UPJ.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 7 p.m. match.
