Box Score WHEELING, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to #6 Wheeling Jesuit in MEC volleyball action at Wheeling Jesuit on Friday night. The Cardinals gained a 25-6, 25-17, 25-12 victory.

Shepherd falls to 10-12 overall, 5-4 in MEC action, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 22-3, 9-0.

Sophomore middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford)  led the Rams with six kills and three blocks.

Freshmen setter Cyera Dixon (Rushville, Ohio/Fairfield Union) recorded 17 assists and 13 digs, while senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee) had 11 digs.

Kayce Krucki and Haley Kindall each had eight kills to pace the Cardinals. Andrea Thobe had 35 assists and 14 digs, while Jessica Thobe posted a match-high 21 digs.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Liberty for a 1 p.m. match.
