Box Score URBANA, Ohio – Shepherd University handed Urbana a 3-0 setback in MEC volleyball action at Urbana on Saturday. The Rams gained a 25-22, 26-24, 25-18 victory.

Shepherd improves to 8-7 overall, 3-0 in conference play, while Urbana falls to 1-12, 0-3.

Senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee) posted 10 kills, five digs, and five blocks and senior outside hitter Taylor Allen (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) recorded nine kills and 13 digs to lead the Rams.

Freshman setter Cyera Dixon (Rushville, Ohio/Fairfield Union) contributed 28 assists and nine digs and sophomore libero/defensive specialist Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) had 10 digs.

Madison Davis had nine kills and Maia Dunlap posted 18 digs to lead the Blue Knights.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. match.
