Shepherd improves to 5-4-2 overall, 4-3-2 in conference action, while West Liberty falls to 2-5-3, 2-4-3.
 
Redshirt-freshman netminder Kelsey Rhoderick (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Campbell) (3) and freshman goalkeeper Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) (4) combined to record seven saves in a shutout performance for the Rams. Allie Warsaw had three saves in goal for the Hilltoppers.
 
West Liberty had a 15-9 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
 
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Fairmont State for a 2:30 p.m. match.
