Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University swept Concord in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Senior Night on Friday night. The Rams recorded a 25-21, 25-21, 25-12 victory.

Shepherd improves to 15-16, 9-7 in conference play, while Concord falls to 8-25, 6-9.

Senior outside hitter Taylor Allen (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) had 14 kills and eight digs to pace the Rams. Sophomore middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) added 11 kills with an impressive .563 attack percentage.

Senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins (Plainfield, Ill./Naperville North/Kishwaukee) had seven digs, two kills, and an ace, while senior outside hitter/opposite Anna Roper (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Huntingtown) had four kills, five blocks and four digs.

Freshmen setter Cyera Dixon (Rushville, Ohio/Fairfield Union) recorded 34 assists and seven digs, while sophomore libero/defensive specialist Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) added eight digs. Freshman setter Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) had a match-high four aces.

Brooke Heck had six kills and Erin Shannon had 10 digs to pace the Mountain Lions.

The Rams await word on seeding for next week's MEC Tournament.
