Box Score <span style="font-size: 10pt;">PHILIPPI, W.Va. – Malcolm Tatum scored 20 points and Jordan Haywood added 19 to lead Alderson Broaddus to an 89-75 win over Shepherd University in men's basketball action at Alderson Broaddus on Saturday.<br /><br />Shepherd falls to 5-5 overall, while Alderson-Broaddus improves to 8-3.<br /> <br />Freshman guard Marcus Adkison (Annandale, Va./St. Andrew's Episcopal) scored 20 points and junior guard Naim Muhammad (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added 18 to lead the Rams.<br /><br />Sophomore guard Steffen Davis (Accokeek, Md./Maret School) tossed in 11 points, while sophomore guard Skyler Roman (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) contributed 10 points and a team-high five assists.<br />Richard Lemon added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Battlers.<br /><br />Shepherd shot 44.3 percent (27-61) from the floor with a 32 percent (8-25) performance from three-point range for the game. The Rams drained 13-of-21 free throws (61.9 percent). Alderson Broaddus shot 47.7 percent (31-65) from the floor with a 42.3 percent (11-26) effort from beyond the arc. The Battlers hit 16-of-25 free throws (64 percent).<br /><br />Alderson Broaddus had a 48-30 edge in rebounding. The Rams forced nine turnovers and committed just six.<br />The Rams return to action on Jan. 4 when they host Concord for a 7:30 p.m. game.</span><br />
