Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. –  Sabrina Fusco had four goals and one assist, while Bridget Hufnagel and Renee Landis each netted three goals to lead Millersville to a 14-8 win over Shepherd in women's lacrosse action at Millersville on Wednesday.

Senior attacker Georgia Karr (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) had two goals and an assist, while sophomore midfielder Courtney Schwiegerath (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) added a pair of goals to lead the Rams.

Shepherd got single goals from senior attacker/midfielder Kelsey Eagan (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point), junior attacker Hunter Morris (Severna Park, Md./Severn School), sophomore midfielder Haley Price (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty), and sophomore attacker Brooke Hunley (Monrovia, Md./Linganore).

Hufnagel also added an assist, while Hannah Vogel had a goal and two assists for Millersville.

Junior goalkeeper Savannah Shores (Trappe, Md./Easton) recorded 10 saves for the Rams, while Shannon Davis had six saves for the Marauders.

Millersville had a 29-17 edge in shots, while Shepherd had a 19-17 advantage in ground balls. The Marauders had a 14-9 edge in draw controls.

Shepherd falls to 1-2, while Millersville improves to 1-1. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Slippery Rock at noon at Ram Stadium in the home opener.
