Courtney Matthews (Monrovia, Md/Urbana) each netted four goals to lead Shepherd University to a 21-3 win over Urbana University in MEC women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Sunday. Shepherd clinched the inaugural MEC regular season title with the win.

Georgia Karr (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) recorded a goal and a game-high three assists, while senior attacker/midfielder
Kelsey Eagan (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) had a goal and an assist. Eagan reached the 100-goal mark for her career with the tally.

Taylor Henderson, Hannah Walters, and Jessica McHenry each had goals for the Blue Knights.
Junior goalkeeper
Savannah Shores (Trappe, Md./Easton) recorded two saves for the Rams, while Paige Waqa posted 16 saves for Urbana.
Shepherd had a 48-9 advantage in shots and a 31-16 edge in ground balls. The Rams had a 21-5 advantage in draw controls.
Shepherd improves to 9-4, 5-0 in conference play, while Urbana falls to 1-12, 1-4. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Lock Haven at 4 p.m.
