Box Score BECKLEY, W.Va. – Senior catcher Spencer Wolfe (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown/USC Aiken) went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs while junior pitcher Sam Crater (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York/Frederick CC)  tossed a complete game three-hitter to lead Shepherd University to a 4-2 win over Concord University in Mountain East Conference Baseball Tournament action at Linda K. Epling Stadium on Saturday.

Shepherd took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on a solo blast to left by Wolfe.

Shepherd extended its lead to 2-0 in the fifth as sophomore outfielder Jonathan Sarty (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove/William & Mary) singled, stole second, and later scored on a single by senior outfielder Matt Wilson (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley/Essex CC).

Concord tied the game at 2-all in the sixth as Tim Brockway reached on an infield error with two outs to plate Jerrod Groves and Andrew Siegel.

Shepherd responded with a pair of runs in the seventh to rally for the victory.

Senior third baseman Bryce Shemer (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill/Colorado Mesa) led off with a single and Sarty followed with a one-out double.
Wolfe smacked a single to right center to plate the pair.

Shemer, Sarty, and Wilson each had a pair of hits for the Rams.
