Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. –  Mahamadou Coulibaly scored on an assist from Max Simpson at the 65:19 mark to lift Concord to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University in Mountain East Conference men's soccer action at Shepherd on Sunday afternoon.

Shepherd falls to 0-4-0 overall, 0-3-0 in MEC play, while Concord improves to 2-1-0, 2-0-0.

Sophomore Nick Widmaier (Olney, Md./Sherwood) recorded five saves for the Rams. Mitchell Thompson had four saves for the Mountain Lions.

Concord had a 13-7 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Washington Adventist for a 3 p.m. contest.
