Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Senior midfielder Lexi Vondrak (Harrisonburg, Va./Harrisonburg) scored on a free kick at the 83:28 mark to help Shepherd University gain a 1-1 tie with Concord in Mountain East Conference women's soccer action at Shepherd on Sunday afternoon.

Shepherd moves to 1-1-2 overall, 0-1-2 in MEC action, while Concord is now 2-1-2, 1-1-1.

Concord took a 1-0 lead at the 15:26 mark when Pilar Elias scored on a feed from Kari Simon.

Shepherd outshot Concord, 6-3, in overtime, but was unable to find the back of the net.

Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Rhoderick (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Campbell) had a pair of saves for the Rams, while Emily Simpkins had nine saves for the Mountain Lions.

Shepherd had a 24-12 advantage in shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Fairmont State for a noon contest.
