SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – West Liberty downed Shepherd University, 8-1,  in women's tennis action at Shepherd on Sunday.

Shepherd falls to 1-3, 0-2, while West Liberty improves to 2-1, 1-0.

Shepherd's lone win came at number three doubles where freshman MacKenzie Littleton (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) and freshman Anna Bock (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville) teamed for a 9-7 triumph.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to face UVa-Wise for an 11 a.m. match.
