Box Score URBANA, Ohio – Sophomore midfielder/forward Taylor Harwood (Capon Bridge, W.Va./Hampshire) scored an unassisted goal at the 71:29 mark to lift Shepherd University to a 1-0 win over Urbana in MEC women's soccer action at Urbana on Wednesday.

Shepherd improves to 4-3-2 overall, 3-2-2 in conference action, while Urbana falls to 3-6-0, 2-5-0.

Redshirt-freshman netminder Kelsey Rhoderick (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Campbell) (2) and freshman goalkeeper Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) (3) combined for five
saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Taylor Gianangeli had four saves for the Blue Knights.

Urbana had a 19-11 advantage in shots and a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Charleston for a 1 p.m. match.
