Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio –  Arthur Favero scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Notre Dame (7-4-0, 6-2-0 MEC) to a 6-0 win over Shepherd University (1-11-0, 0-8-0 MEC) in MEC men's soccer action at Notre Dame on Wednesday afternoon.

Favero scored at the 54:44 mark to break a scoreless tie and added another tally minutes later on a free kick.

The Falcons also got single goals from Joao Pedro Ribas, Leonardo Paiva, Thomaz Freitas, and Gabielle Gaiba.
 
Junior Jacob Clements (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora/Frederick CC) recorded nine saves in goal for the Rams, while Daniele DeAngelis had a pair of saves for the Falcons.

Notre Dame had a 26-3 shots advantage and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Wheeling Jesuit for a 1 p.m. contest for Youth Soccer Day.
