Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Adele Siegel scored on a penalty kick at the 58:39 mark to lead Charleston (12-3-2, 12-2-1 MEC) to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University (7-8-1, 6-8-1 MEC) in Mountain East Conference women's soccer action at Charleston on Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Christi Labella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) posted eight saves in goal for the Rams, while Zoe Zyta did not record a save in a shutout effort for the Golden Eagles.

Charleston had a 12-0 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Urbana for a noon contest.
