SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University will be honoring the 1986, 1991 and 2006 WVIAC champion football teams at the Fairmont State-Shepherd football game at Ram Stadium that will kickoff at noon on Nov. 5.

The 1986 team will be honored on its 30th anniversary. The '86 Rams posted an 8-3 overall mark with a 7-0 mark in conference play. Shepherd used a hard-fought 3-0 victory over rival Fairmont State en route to the WVIAC crown. The Rams earned a berth in the NAIA Playoffs.

The 1991 team will be recognized on its 25th anniversary. The '91 Rams recorded an 8-3 overall record with a 7-0 mark in conference action. The Rams advanced to the NAIA Playoffs.

The 2006 team will be honored on its 10th anniversary. The '06 Rams posted an 11-1 overall mark with a 7-0 conference record. Shepherd recorded a 10-0 regular season slate and had a 1-1 mark in the NCAA II Playoffs.
