Box Score URBANA, Ohio – Shepherd University (8-17, 3-8 MEC) dropped a 3-1 decision to Urbana (16-11, 6-4 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at Urbana on Friday night. The Blue Knights recorded a 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 25-13 win.

Junior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) recorded 11 kills with a .526 attack percentage to lead the Rams. Freshman outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added nine kills, while freshman outside hitter Jaila Bell (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) had eight.

Sophomore setter Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) and freshman setter Jessica Karcz Westminster, Md./Westminster) each posted 17 assists. Junior middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) had a match-high five blocks (2 solo).

Junior libero Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) and freshman libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) contributed 11 digs.

Mikaela Bell had 19 kills, while Kaitlynn Dunlap added 16 kills and 30 digs to pace the Blue Knights.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Notre Dame College for an 11 a.m. match.
