Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Shepherd University (8-18, 3-9 MEC) dropped a 3-0 decision to Notre Dame (15-13, 7-5 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at Notre Dame on Saturday. The Falcons recorded a 25-20, 25-21, 26-24 win.

Freshman outside hitter Jaila Bell (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs to lead the Rams. Freshman outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added 11 kills, while junior libero Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) posted 11 digs.

Sophomore setter Becca Kern Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) (18) and freshman setter Jessica Karcz Westminster, Md./Westminster) (12) combined to record 30 assists. Freshman outside hitter Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va/Riverbend) contributed a match-high five blocks.

Melissa Maczuzak recorded 21 kills and Mary Kate McHugh to lead the Falcons.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. match.
