Senior outside hitter
Grace Simmons (Centreville, Va./Centreville) had 14 kills and freshman outside hitter
Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added 13 to lead the Rams (7-11, 2-2 MEC).
Sophomore setter
Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) (17) and freshman setter
Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) (25) combined for 42 assists. Junior libero
Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, W.Va./Loudoun County) recorded a match highs of 29 digs and three aces.
Mackenzie Harrison had 21 kills and 24 digs to lead Fairmont State (10-6, 4-0 MEC). Breanna Blot added 15 kills, while Julia Shemaitis had 13.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 7 p.m. contest.
