Box Score FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Shepherd University (5-5-1, 4-5-1 MEC) recorded a 2-0 win over Fairmont State (2-9-1, 0-9-1) in MEC women's soccer action at Fairmont on Friday evening.

Elishia Davis (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) scored on a pass from senior midfielder/defender
Rachel Sefton (Berryville, Va./Clarke County) at the 23:58 mark to give the Rams a 1-0 lead at the break.
Sophomore forward
Lauren Drever (Sterling, Va./Dominion) scored an unassisted goal at the 81:09 mark to help secure the victory.
Sophomore
Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) recorded six saves in goal for the Rams. Shawna Graham had four saves for the Falcons.
Shepherd had a 20-8 shots advantage, while Fairmont State had a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Concord at 3:30 p.m. for the Breast Cancer Awareness Game.
