SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. --  Shepherd University (2-6, 2-5 MEC) recorded an 8-1 win over Concord (0-6, 0-6 MEC) in MEC women's tennis action at Shepherd on Friday.

Sophomore Zoie O'Neal (Hagerstown, Md./Clear Spring) and classmate Anna Bock (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville) each posted 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Elizabethtown.
