Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – Freshman outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had 16 kills, five blocks, and five digs to lead Shepherd University (12-19, 5-10 MEC) to a 3-2 win over Concord (17-14, 8-7 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at Concord on Friday night. The Rams rallied to post a 19-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-8 win.

Freshman outside hitter Jaila Bell (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) and junior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) each added 12 kills.

Freshman libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) recorded a team-high 13 digs, while sophomore setter Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) (39) and freshman setter Jessica Karcz Westminster, Md./Westminster) (14) and teamed to record 53 assists.

Brooke Heck had 12 kills to lead the Mountain Lions. Alexi Pranckus added nine kills and eight digs.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to UVa-Wise for a 1 p.m. match
