Box Score WILMINGTON, Del. – Lexi Bruno scored 28 points and Brittani Bryson added 20 to lead Goldey-Beacom (6-5) to a 77-65 win over Shepherd University (3-6) in women's basketball action at Goldey-Beacom on Saturday.

Senior forward Liz Myers (York, Pa./Eastern York) scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace the Rams.

Junior guard Morgan Arden (Hanover, Pa./Spring Grove) added 13 points, while senior guard Cara Mason added 10 points and five assists.

Bryson grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds and Nina Bartlette added nine points for the Lightning.

Shepherd shot 43.9 percent (25-57) from the floor with a 47.1 percent effort (8-17) from three-point range for the game. The Rams shot 63.6 percent (7-11) from the charity stripe.

Goldey-Beacom used a 23-13 fourth period to pull away for the victory.

Goldey-Beacom connected on 46.3 percent (31-67) from the floor with a 31.8 percent (7-22) performance from beyond the arc. The Lightning hit on 72.7 percent (8-11) of their free throws.

Shepherd had a 39-32 edge in rebounds. Shepherd forced seven turnovers and committed 21.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Puerto Rico to take on University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez at 5 p.m.
